The keyboard is small, well build and works great.

It works fine, is compact and easy to handle, very good if you don't have to write much like on computers connected to tv used just for multimedia purpose.
Paolotdr
I would have probably given this a 4 star if it wasn't for the range issues (see #1 below).

Got the product and plugged in the receiver into my Win 7 laptop and it worked. Love the size of the product, love that on/off switch to save battery and love the scroll. The only minor complaint is the mouse is a little small, could have made it bigger. Works great for what I need it for.

I bought this to control my HTPC from couch.
I found it to be working as advertised and meeting my expectation.

Good:
- I didn't specifically measure it. But the working range is good enough, no problem using it from 15 feet away. This is with multiple WIFI and BlueTooth device around.
- The build quality is good.
- Key is small, but still manageable.
- Backlit is big help.
- Read some reviews mentioned missing Function Keys (F1, F2, etc). They do exist. They are not dedicated keys, but they can be accessed through Fn+Number keys. If you want to press F1, just press Fn, and the same time press 1.

Not so good:
- One hand use is still cumbersome

Ok I wanna start by saying I was very impressed by this keyboard/ mouse.
I build a HTPC for downloading, managing, server for other media players and playing all formats of video on my main TV.
I had ordered two other remotes that were a let down prior to finding this gem.
It's easy to find keyboard or remote to play videos and such, but with this device I never get up from the coach no matter what the pc task is.
I can browse, copy, paste and the big one for me was being able to drag and drop without grabbing mouse.
The cheaper model 5901 is ok but this one is way better with back lighting and touch control instead of a trackball. Spend the other 15 bucks. Well worth it.
The size is perfect to hold with one hand but there is room for two for typing. Range is also great. I tested it from my front yard aprox 70 feet away. It worked great.

Bottom line is buy it if you want to control every pc function from the coach and never reach for a keyboard or mouse.

If you want to do every funct

if you're like me and connect your laptop to your tv almost everyday, then this product is a blessing. no need to buy full-sized keyboards and mice. very small package has both in it and are quite responsive.

the only reason why i didnt give this 5 stars is coz the product itself could be improved by lenovo. the range is weird since sometimes if there are large objects in the way, you may notice lag in your inputs. other than that, its a great accessory.

The N5902 keyboard works well in most every respect. No real set-up is required. Just plug the bluetooth adapter into a USB slot and you are done. The back lighting is just what I needed to see the keys in a darkened theater room. This feature alone is enough to recommend the product, however I have not (yet?) found a way to keep it lit though pauses in my typing. The keyboard fits nicely in your hand, and if you are a thumb typer, it couldn't be simpler to use. The optical touch pad is a matter of taste. I have used the previous model (N5901), which had no back light but did have a trackball. For me the track ball was easier for big moves/navigation or flipping through web pages and screens etc., but fine control was frustrating. This newer model, N5902, solves that problem, but the touch pad doesn't feel as substantial or "real" as a trackball. Last point, the battery life is excellent.

I desperately searched hi & low across the internet for a good, reliable, wireless device that was on the smaller side, was back-lit, had a track-pad and offered the full functionality of a keyboard & mouse. I didn't want those cheap candy-bar shaped mini-keyboards from China either. They may work for some people and get the job done, eventually, but I was looking for a QUALITY unit that will last for a few years of constant use. The best item I found was the Logitech DiNovo Mini. But that thing is very old and being that technology moves fast, it was already way out-dated.

After that I just about settled on Logitechs K400 mini keyboard w/track-pad, but it lacked back-lit keys. I soon came to the realization that I wasn't gonna find my ideal device and would have to settle on a unit with most, but not all, of the features I was looking for. It seems like, for whatever reasons, that companies aren't manufacturing these types of devices anymore. More and more people are using "home theater pc's (htpc)" but lack the necessary input device to use from the couch. The K400 is a 3/4's keyboard, meaning it's three quarters the size of a regular full sized keyboard, it has a built-in track pad with a reliable connection and was a QUALITY device, even though I wasn't feeling the size of it. Just as I was about to order the K400, I came across the Lenovo N5902 Multimedia keyboard. The best thing was that the Lenovo had all the features I was looking for!!!

Now, a lot of people here complained about the range of the unit and others say it works better when the USB dongle is in the front ports of the PC to give a more unobstructed view. I don't have either of these issues, though it will miss a letter, here & there, while typing long paragraphs.
