Gives recycled glass a bad name,

This review is from: Lenox Re-New Pitcher (Kitchen)
We have gone through two of these pitchers in under a year. They break a lot easier than one would expect. The first one was replaced by the store because it broke so quickly. We used the second for several months. But it too broke. It broke while on the fridge door! We had it in the door area usually used for a gallon of milk. It was holding some iced tea that we made the day before. My husband tapped the handle as he was putting a bottle of wine next to it -- no he wasn't drunk, he was rearranging the fridge for groceries. Suddenly, the pitcher fractured completely around. It seems like there was a weak spot near the handle. Luckily, since it was sitting in the fridge door, nothing feel to the ground and we did not have to clean up shattered glass. This pitcher looks thin compared to our others that have lasted longer. I'm disappointed because while I would like to support the use of recycled glass, it's not even worth using Lenox's replacement policy (where you pay only 50% of the cost to replace the broken item) to get another one of these.
