This is a very pretty set and affordable BUT...BEWARE. Lenox says it is dishwasher safe. They lie. I put the pot in the diswasher to remove the tea stains(all alone on the top rack with reservations) It turns out I was right....The butterfly wings fell off from the dishwasher spray. It was not roughly handled or in a place that anything could have touched it but water. Lenox by the way DOES NOT warranty it for falling apart when used as instructed and stands by the "dishwasher safe" label. It will cost $30 to replace the pot under their 50% off breakage warranty and they won't sell you a lid only.

The perfect tea set for Grandma and her favorite granddaughter. The cups are adult size, even Grandpa and Grandma could share this set. Using this lovely set brings to mind the outdoors and spring with no insects buzzing about.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND, if you're a tea drinker.

When I opened the box, my first impression was the tea pot is pretty big than I expected. You may fill at least 6-7 cups of water. The tea cups are the right size, though. Overall, I liked this tea sets.

Wow, I cannot believe how gorgeous this tea service is. I just wish I could give this more than 5 stars!! It's colorful and bright and vibrant and each piece just pops with such a splash of merriment. And, it is crafted of fine Lenox porcelain china which is among the nicest set I have ever seen.

I love this set because it's the perfect tea service to celebrate Easter and Springtime in general because it includes beautiful pastels, yellows and adorable little garden themes. Anyone who likes this time of year would most assuredly appreciate this set.

I did want to mention a few things about the practicality of this service. First of all, because it is of fine porcelain I do not recommend putting it in the dishwasher nor the microwave. This should be hand washed with Palmolive and then delicately dried with a lint-free cloth. I know Amazon states that it can go in the microwave and dishwasher but that is just not the case.

If you take proper care of this set I am certain it will last a lifetime and provide a wealth of fond memories. By the way, Lenox also offers a lifetime replacement guarantee on all of their branded items.

The Lenox 8-piece (it's actually 9 different pieces) Butterfly Meadow tea set would also make a wonderful gift for that hard-to-shop for person or just for anyone that enjoys Lenox. It's such an unusual and unique item, I can almost guarantee no one has seen anything quit like it.

I also love this tea service because it's so casual and is something can be used as often as you like. And at this price it would even be wise to get more than 1 set. Wouldn't it also look stunning on a brass tea cart?

The price on Amazon simply cannot be found elsewhere. It is exceptional. Bambergers alone is charging nearly twice this price. I have also seen inferior sets go for much more than the price on Amazon. And with the free shipping they are practically giving it away!! And unlike other merchants, Amazon will go to the end of the earth to make certain that their customers are satisfied.

Speaking of shipping, I received my order within 3 days flat! Amazon even started packaging it up within minutes after my order was placed. They truly are the very best e-commerce company. And they packaged it wonderfully (by the way, the tea set comes in its own beautiful Lenox gift box).

If Amazon also offered groceries I would do all my shopping with them. But then I'd miss out on the privilege of waiting in line for 45 minutes at Wegmans listening to the instrumental version of "Knock Three Times" over the PA.

I bought this as a Christmas present for my mom. The tea set is so beautiful. I can't wait to see her face when she opens the present.

This teapot is easy to pour out of and great looking with the spout facing left. The Butterfly Meadow pieces are highly usable and durable but I find them too be too much when used together.

If I had to do it all over again, I would buy the teapot for girly tea parties but not this set because I am anti-uncovered creamers and the sugarbowl really drags down the look of the set. The images are just too spindly and the rosebud on the lid is too pale and greyishly pink.

And definitely, do NOT put the lids in the dishwasher. I am dismayed to read the review about Lenox not selling just the lid so it would cost $30 to replace my broken one!

This is not only beautiful but functional and I use it a lot.

I bought this for my sister who really wanted a tea set. I searched everywhere for the right one, I came across this and thought it was so cute. My sister is very hard to impress, but I was confident she would love it! And she does, she wants to get the rest of the matching sets...dinnerware, salad bowls, serving bowls and much more. How could you not this tea set is so girly, pretty and fun! Great gift.

This tea set is absolutely beautiful. Much prettier than the picture presents. I was so happy becaus the size of the creamer and sugar bowl was larger than I thought which eliminates having to refill so often while entertaining. Teapot holds a substantial amount of tea, also. Everyone that has come into my dining area has fell in love with it and have been very verbal about how beautiful it is. A definate MUST buy! Also well packed.

I will start by saying that i only give five star ratings or one star ratings. I either love the product or completely hate it. With that said this tea set is five star. I purchased this as a gift for my wife on her birthday along with three additional cups, and she absolutly loves it. I read most of the reviews before i purchased it, so we never washed any of the pieces in the dishwasher. My wife has also had friends over for tea parties and everyone who has seen the set has complimented her on it. I would tell anyone i knew looking for great gift to look no further, because here it is.
