This pattern was first introduced by Lenox about 11 years ago, I believe. It was love at first sight because of the butterfies; however, after using it all these years I love it for the quality also. In all the years since bought it has been our everyday china and not one piece has chipped or broken. A good way to heat leftovers so they taste "just made" is on this china. I arrange everything on the plate when cleaning the night the food is eaten, cover with foil and place in the refrigerator. When you're ready to enjoy your meal, put the cold plate (with or without the cover) in your COLD oven. In about the time it takes for the oven to warm to 350F, your food is ready. Of course, they have bakeware also, but this is just a little something I learned for leftovers. The pie plate, casserole dishes are so beautiful and you can prepare your meal and then serve it in this gorgeous china. The butterfly, to me, reminds me of how a Christian becomes a new creature in Christ; the butterfly's start in life is similar to a human. As a Christian this Lenox pattern causes me to think on my Saviour. Now, tell me, who would ever find china with such versatility? It was said, "A butterfly counts its life in moments and finds it time enough." I have a lot of "food for thought" all day, and not just in the kitchen but through the entire house. cute and practical! It's perfect for ice cream, fruits, vegetables, little portion of cereals, rice, and etc. I got matching mugs, fruit bowls, and small plates. It's perfect for any occasion. I love it! I got desert bowls and fruit bowl at Amazon, and the mugs and plates at TJMaxx. TJMAXX carries them around the Easter and they have slightly better price than Amazon, but they don't carry dessert bowls and fruit bowls. My only concern is that if any one of them breaks, it will incomplete the set. I wonder if I have to invest to another set. You can't go wrong with these.
