5.0 out of 5 stars Pretty but practical
I received this pretty honey pot that was packaged great with no breaks occuring in the mailing process which I was concerned about due to the delicate design. The honeypot holds a good amount of honey and comes with a wooden dipper. It looks pretty sitting out on my kitchen shelf which makes it very convenient and close at hand for daily use. 3.0 out of 5 stars Wings break off
This is a pretty honey pot. However, my kids managed to break the wings off on the first day by pulling on the rod, thus flipping the lid off and upside down onto the counter. I've glued them back on twice with different glues but they will not stay on. The honey pot lives on without its wings.

4.0 out of 5 stars prettier and more charming than the photograph., November 21, 2011

This piece is less pale in reality and is much cuter. I don't use honey so I haven't used this piece but I plan to use it as a sugar bowl with a teaspoon replacing the included wooden honey wand. The Butterfly Meadow sugar bowl is really boring looking and will probably be relegated to holding lemon wedges.

I guess I am not too disappointed in this piece being my go to sugar bowl since I have looked at all the other offerings on Amazon and the nicer pieces are usually overpriced.

The honey dish is very nice, but the hole in the top through which you obtain the honey is rather small, so it is hard not to make that hole sticky.

4.0 out of 5 stars $29.99 for easier access, May 2, 2007
This review is from: Lenox Butterfly Meadow Bone Porcelain Beehive Honey Pot (Kitchen)
Cream tea with honey is consumed several times throughout the day in my house so I have high expectations for this solution. This is smaller than I expected. It is much cuter than the picture because of the wood honey stick handle protruding from the notch in the cover. I'm sorry I waited so long to buy it.

I love this honey pot; the design is dainty but the pot itself is really good-sized. A beautiful accompaniment to the matching tea set.
