This review is from: Lenox Federal Platinum 9-Inch Bone China Pasta/Rim Soup Bowl, Set of 4 (Kitchen)
These bowls are better suited for soup than they are pasta - in my opinion they are not large enough to be used as an entree pasta bowl.We have just acquired this pattern with service for 12 including dessert plates, soup bowls and several serving pieces. Not one out of 150+ pieces we ordered or were given as gifts have any flaws. This is an elegant pattern and I look forward to many holiday dinners and other special occasions with this pattern. And it is dishwasher safe!

"Lifetime Replacement" policy is very misleading,
This review is from: Lenox Federal Platinum 9-Inch Bone China Pasta/Rim Soup Bowl, Set of 4 (Kitchen)
The official Amazon reviews of Lenox china all seem to mention this wonderful-sounding "Lifetime Replacement Policy."Here is the truth: as long as Lenox still makes the pattern, you can replace a broken piece at 50% of their suggested retail price. Most people hear "lifetime replacement" and think it means the lifetime of the purchaser. Not the case with Lenox. Also, 50% off their inflated MSRP is hardly a bargain anyway. The only department store I can think of that charges full MSRP on anything is Neiman-Marcus. Lenox discontinues patterns left and right (I think they average 8-10 pattern discontinuations a year), so the chances are slim that years down the road this "replacement" policy will do you any good at all. And as is typical of Lenox customer "service" these days, they brag about their policy while glossing over the less than wonderful details of it. I recommend Wedgwood or Spode (the originator of Bone China), two companies that still seem to show some concern about making a quality product and standing behind it with pride. Good luck.
