Classically simple, the white base of each piece in the pattern is accented by bands of shining platinum and a gleaming finish. The curves and elegant trim of this covered bowl create an excellent presentation for your best vegetable and side dishes. Platinum bands accent the foot, rim, and outermost edge of the body, as well as the graceful handles. The lid is also banded in platinum at the edge and on the finial knob. With the lid on, the bowl measures 12 by 10 by 6-1/4 inches. Both bowl and lid are dishwasher-safe and covered by a lifetime replacement policy. Bought this to compliment a service of 13, it's beautiful and is a timeless formal design for all of my holiday occasions, it ain't cheap, but it's as good as it gets. Some old fashioned things are still fashionable. Nice to have a formal setting on the special times and is always complimented as a magnificent setting. Plus it keeps the mashed potatoes hot with the cover....lol
