This casserole dish, in Lenox's most popular holiday pattern, comes complete with a glass lid, is 7-5/8-inches in diameter, and holds 48 ounces (or 1-1/2 quarts) of your favorite casserole. It stands 3-1/2-inches tall without the glass lid and 5-5/8-inches tall with the lid on, is made of fine ivory china, and is accented with 24-karat gold. The dish features a festive holiday pattern of green holly sprigs and red holly buds all around for viewing from every side of the table.

The casserole dish is safe in the dishwasher, microwave, and oven, versatility that comes in handy during the busy holiday season. I bought this for someone but found myself in a pinch so ended up using it...and use it often! It's not a large piece but perfect for a smaller dinner (4-8 folks) or on the buffet table. Its style blends well with casual as well as more formal settings. Also, the casserole bowl doesn't have the typical look of something having a lid so it doubles well as a serving bowl.

One minor negative...the glass cover has more of a pyrex-type look than something belonging to a Lenox piece.
