Breathtaking!
This painstakingly-made 5-piece set of crystal ornaments represents the Nativity. It is beatiful in every detail. The price was unbelievable during a recent Friday Sale. I purchased two but wish I'd gotten them for everyone on my list as those who got them were the envy of those who received subtantially more expensive gifts from me this year.

Received Broken
This is a beautiful set but unfortunately my palm tree was broken. Decided to keep it anyway.

I've NEVER reviewed anything before but I had to review these based on my experience with the shipment. I ordered these ornaments from the seller Ann Taylor. She shipped them very quickly. I was so excited to open them and as I expected, 1 was broken (the tree). I immediately sent her an email, to which she responded promptly. She sent me the insurance and I went to the post office to file my claim. She would've sent me a new set, but that was the last one. The post office refunded the purchase amount but not the shipping cost. Very disappointed, I emailed Ann and told her my story. She was so great...she immediately sent me the $5.00 shipping cost, which was $4.99, so she gave me a penny!! Although I ended up with only a penny in the end, it is comforting to know that I didn't get screwed in the online purchase of a glass item. Thanks Ann Taylor!!!
By the way, the ornaments are really nice blown glass, very attractive looking.

Lenox Nativity Blown glass Ornaments, Set of 5These were much more lovely than expected--they are very delicate, so if you have pets or small children, you should be careful with their placement on the tree

I ordered this a month before Christmas and on the 21st they sent me an email saying it wouldn't arrive until late February of 2007!!!!!!!
They said that it would be shipped immediately when I ordered. Unbeileveable. I am a soldier stationed in Iraq and now it's too late to order a substitute Christmas present. Thanks Amazon!!! Thanks a lot! |
