Product Description

LegCoat tripod leg covers protect your shoulders when carrying your gear and the camouflage helps break up the shape of your tripod at the same time. Made of closed cell foam padding and heavy-duty neoprene, it is soft to the touch but rugged in function. The padding guards your hands from the cold tripod legs in lower temperatures, and can protect the tripod from minor nicks and scratches. Made with Velcro fastners for easy assembly. The covers come in a set of three, sized specifically for your Gitzo 1325/GT3530LSV tripod.

This review is from: LensCoat LegCoat Tripod Leg Covers for the Gitzo 1325 & 3530LSV Tripod Legs - Black (Electronics)
I bought these covers mainly to make carrying my Gitzo 1325 tripod more comfortable in cold weather. Unfortunately the leg covers were of little help in that respect. The material used for the exterior of the covers was some sort of vinyl-like material that got about as cold as the uncovered legs of my tripod. There also were no instructions for installing the covers, I put them on inside out the first time around. I also never did figure out the purpose for the little elastic loops on the ends of the covers. And finally, the sticky material used to attach the covers to the legs and keep the covers in place didn't attach correctly to one of the legs of the tripod so that cover wouldn't stay in place, it moved up and down the tripod leg and rotated when grasped. The one good thing about the covers was that they're heavily padded so carrying the tripod over one's shoulder was more comfortable. But still not a product I'd recommend, there must be better tripod leg covers than these out there somewhere.
