I've been into photography since about 1975. I've experimented with a bunch of different things over the years, but I have to say that pinhole photography is tremendously inspiring. I know find myself looking at scenes and evaluating them for their pinholeness.
There are several times I've tried to make a pinhole myself, never with much success. The LensBaby pinhole optic is inexpensive and easy to carry. It's also very affordable, assuming you already have the lens body. I'm using it with the composer and find it a good, easy to use system.

Originally, I wanted to build my own pinhole camera. However, the immense effort involved turned me off, so I decided to just buy a lensbaby optic to see the effect. The optic came with optic changer tool. So far, it seems like it could introduce some creative effects into my photography.
