This story is for those of you that love your dogs and imagine what they would say if they could speak. Leo: A Greyhound's Tale delivers in this aspect and much more.
It is a thrilling adventure story told from Leo's point of view that will enthrall and titillate readers of all ages. It will reinforce anyone's attitude that dogs need and love man like no other four-legged animal ever has or will. Leo: A Greyhound's Tale is storytelling at its best!

I could not put this very witty, heartwarming book down until I had read it from cover to cover!! The story of Leo and his search for a loving home is told with a very humorous, delightful twist...thanks to the writing style of this extremely talented author. Previously unfamiliar with greyhounds, I enjoyed getting to know the personality of this charming and appealing breed of dog. I truly hope more adventures of this enchanting dog will follow!

I loved this book so much, that I am doing a school report on the auther(Cindy Victor). The first time I read it I laughed, I cried, and even got to a point where I couldn't put it down. I would like to thank Mrs. Victor for bringing such a touching story into the world.

Cindy has captured the nature of the greyhound in this book. I read Leo from cover to cover when I first received it and I am reading it again! A delightful love story, which makes you root for Leo and his humans, through their trials and tribulations. In the end, Leo gets the happy ending he deserves.

Leo - A Greyhound's Tale is a suspenseful and heart-warming story for adults and kids ages eight and up. The story of Leo's life as a retired racing Greyhound is told in his own words. By the end of the tale Leo has found happiness for himself and, by becoming a matchmaker, brought happiness to the people he loves. This is a humorous, well-written story that will be enjoyed by all dog lovers. It may even make you think about adopting a Greyhound! It did me!

A lover of dogs, cats, gardening and good wine.

This is a very endearing tale, and it's told by Leo himself--a talking dog no less. I love Leo's way with words. He provides droll observations and introspections at a fast clip to match the swings and roundabouts of his story. Bravo Leo!

An enchanting story for the whole family told especially well. Can't wait to read the second Leo book by Cindy Victor.

This is a heartwarming, funny and suspense-filled novel about a greyhound who lights up like a Christmas tree when his world is in order, and frets like there's no tomorrow when it's not. So subtly does Cindy Victor blend fantasy with the real facts of canine and human life, I found myself thinking of Leo as a real flesh-and-fur dog. Now, more than ever before, I look at my wolfhound and wonder how much he knows about me and what he's thinking. A laugh-out-loud story you're sure to love.

I thought Leo: A Greyhound's Tale was a fantastic story of doggie achievement. The story is both sad and tail-wagging-ly happy. I cheered for Leo to get to the 'top of the stairs' and overcome the obstacles between him and a happy home. He is a witty and handsome hero with superior canine intelligence.
