WOW, LEON PATILLO, April 1, 2007
This review is from: Leon Patillo The Definitive Collection (Audio CD)
What can i say about this greatest hits collection? I'm happy and a little disappointed as I hear some of my favorites and so many that didn't makes this compilation. I don't know who remastered this release but a lot of the songs especially from "The Sky Is The Limit" album sounded a little mixed to high and doesn't have that full bodied sound of the album. Overall it's an OK collection of songs showcasing the work of Leon Patillo from the Don't Give In" albums and I"ll Never Stop Loving You" and "The Sky's The Limit" albums. A lot of these songs bring back good memories of being a young teenager and loving Urban Contemporary and Pop Christian and Gospel Music. Leon has always been a favorite and has influenced me in my own personal music endeavors. Favorite cuts are: "The Sky Is The Limit" "I Heard The Thunder" "Cornerstone" and "J.E.S.U.S.

Wish all his works were available on CD!!, January 20, 2009
This review is from: Leon Patillo The Definitive Collection (Audio CD)
Many of us remember Leon's work and what it meant to us. Guess I wore out a few cassette tapes listening to them. If you are a fan, then grab this while you can. Only a few of his original albums were converted to CD format and I can't find them.
A great CD that is worthy of being called a "definitve collection."

Unrated, December 22, 2011

Take a look at the cover of this CD. You see half of this man's head and face - and - one - eye. Interestingly, David Meece and Wayne Watson also have this half-faced style CD cover. Does this mean they worship the all-seeing eye (instead of the Creator and Jesus)? Just a thought.
