Editorial Reviews

Product Description

Television trivia and anagram game all in one. Each puzzle category has at least five word jumbles, with clues to challenge and amuse you. Each anagram is in the form of a fun phrase. Take the jumbled letters and rearrange them to find the correct answer.

About the Author

Leona Raisin credits a love of word puzzles to her fraternal twin sister. As children, they developed a secret anagramic language that allowed uncensored communication within the protective community in which they were raised. When her family finally achieved a mainstream existence and found television for the first time, Leona's life changed. Her academic and journalistic pursuits evolved exponentially. She left her editorial position with Spinning Wheel Digest to write television reviews for a major daily newspaper. Now she combines the word play of youth with her knowledge of television in this volume, her first book.

5.0 out of 5 stars Fun for word game lovers!, November 7, 2008
Bought this book for my sister who loves the Jumble, Scrabble, etc. plus is a major TV addict. She really dug this book. The tagline said "play during commercials" and that's what we've been doing. The word scrambles are clever, and some of the TV categories are pretty obscure, which makes it more challenging. I'd recommend this book for anyone who likes word games and TV trivia.
