Excellent!, February 16, 2008
This review is from: Leonard Starr's Mary Perkins On Stage Volume 3 (Paperback)
Leonard Starr was a superlative comic-strip artist and 'On Stage' was his best work. The artwork was superb and the stories are still interesting and pertinent in this day and age. I have all three volumes of the collection so far and am definitely going to purchase more as they are released. These editions are excellent--everything is clear and beautifully reproduced. This is quality work. If you're interested in great stories, wonderful artwork and fascinating settings and characters, don't hesitate to buy this edition of a superb strip.

Mary Perkins On Stage #3, January 23, 2010
This review is from: Leonard Starr's Mary Perkins On Stage Volume 3 (Paperback)
This beautifully drawn series just gets better and better. The story seems as fresh today as it was for readers fifty years ago. A guilty pleasure.

Mary Perkins On Stage, February 4, 2009
This review is from: Leonard Starr's Mary Perkins On Stage Volume 3 (Paperback)
Although this is Volume Three, there are currently five volumes in this series. Any one of them will entertain you. The life and times of Mary Perkins is one of the great adventure strips (yeah, it's not a soap), well written, well drawn and well executed. There haven't been many newspaper strips as good as this one!
Absolutely one of the best you can buy.
