About the Author
Federico Zeri, an eminent art historian and critic, was vice president of the National Council for Cultural and Environmental Treasures and was decorated with the Legion of Honor by the French Government. He passed away in 1998.

Leonardo for kids,

If you already have a lot of Leonardo books, you can skip this one. It is pretty sketchy in information, kind of like a Leonardo for kids. Yes, they do show close ups of the painting but in its terribly deteriorated state, you really don't get much more information other than that it is in a sad condition.
