This shampoo is very different from other shampoos. You must keep adding water to it a little bit at a time, as you work the product into the hair, and it will never really foam like traditional shampoos because of the natural ingredients. You must also take the time to rinse it out carefully. It really does leave the hair very silky, soft and shiny. There is no need for a conditoner unless your hair is very dry and damaged. I recommend brushing the hair before shampooing to get all the tangles out as it helps to work the product into the hair better. Once you start using products by Leonor Greyl, you won't want to go back to the "other stuff". You might even want to skip expensive, damaging highlights/color treatments, and spend the money on these products instead, your hair will thank you! I was told that if you do color your hair, these products will keep the color lasting longer.

The instructions are right on in terms of leaving it in for five minutes to let your hair follicles absorbs the nutrients. After one use I can tell the difference. I am on to trying the hair masque.

I have used this shampoo for about 2+ years and started using it when I let my hair grow. It was recommended to me by a store owner who saw how dry and frizzy my hair was when I was using my old shampoo, that, I thought was totally natural but, have learned it was not. Supposedly this Lenore Greyl shampoo is, but I cannot swear it. Does anyone out there know better? What I do know is that this shampoo makes my hair look and feel so good. I don't shampoo as often, so, my little plastic bottle lasts forever. When I do shampoo, I only shampoo once and it doesn't latter as much as some do, but don't worry, your hair is clean. I am so pleased with this shampoo.
