I remember this song from when I was a kid and the fast and repeating riffs always sounded awesome and now I have come back to listen later in life and it still sounds awesome. A great song off of one of their greatest albums.

The Best Metallica Song Ever,

I absolutely love this song. I believe that "Master of Puppets" is Metallica's best album. When a band makes a truly great song, there are sounds that are captured that defy recording logic. At one point in this song, there is a obvious recording of a person knocking on a door. I don't know how many times I actually shut off this song and opened the front door to find nobody there. The inside information is, Metallica recorded this song on equipment that was probably better than they understood at the time. In order to fully hear the knocking on the door sound, you have to play it on equipment that is capable of throwing noise. When I heard this noise clear as a bell, it was played on a Sony CD player through coaxial digital into a Onkyo home theater (unlocked), and out through Bose 301 speakers. All equipment was plugged into an APC surge protector. The question you may ask is, "What other songs throw noise?". Get a good stereo, and see for yourself!
