If you stop to listen to the words you are transported into another world and realize that romance existed in the old days. Each generation had its romantic singers and he is a classic! He is up there with Frank Sinatra, Bing Crosby, etc. If you wonder how old I am, I am not. I am just a hopeless romantic who can appreciate all music from any era. Merci de Line.

When i was young,my grandparents had a dozen of TINO ROSSI's LP.TINO was one of the most popular singer of the thirties and forties.Later on,many tried to follow in his footsteps, but no one could equal the man with the honey voice.Composer VINCENT SCOTTO used to create some of his songs with him in mind and they were perfectly matched for one another. If you resist to the charm of romantic songs like TCHI TCHI,O CORSE ILE D'AMOUR and CHANSON POUR NINA(my favorite),you are probably dead. This is timeless stuff that still delivers after all these years

A really spectacular collection of over 20 pieces by Tino Rossi spanning the years 1934 to 1945. Liner notes are in French. Highly recommended.

So I had a bunch of Victrola records I bought in an old suitcase in Budapesh a number of years ago. My favorite was one of Tino Rossi's songs and I played it to death. So I hunted him out in Amazon was thrilled to find his albums and his history in here and bought most of them- I love when the I-pod scrolles over them.

We love the Tino Rossi's "best of," and this is right up there for the holidays. If you like that subtle, classic 40's era music with a little international flair, this is just what you wanted wrapped up with a "holidays" feel. Relaxing and romantic. Enjoy!
