I was looking for new ideas and techniques for either orally or manually stimulating a woman. I didn't find them in this book. I wanted details, I got lots of information concerning safe sex, STD's, how to discuss STD's, "coming out" to the world, child abuse - sexual, physical and emotional, domestic partner abuse, mental health counseling from a therapist's point of view, civil rights, discriminatory laws, privileges of being heterosexual, an arguement of heterosexuality as a choice of not. The authors were even kind enough to devote an entire chapter of resources for helping the readers family understand homosexuality, were to go if I am abused, support help lines for partner abuse, childhood psychological, physical or sexual abuse, friendly places to buy books and videos, internet hosting and electronic cards for and by women.

Of the 100 pages contained in this publication, maybe 25 pages contain vague ideas of how to physically approach a female. Of these ideas, I can't think of any that would not be considered basic affection. Not a stumulating read, at all.

My copy will be going straight to my local library for donation. I consider it a complete waste of time and money to have purchased this book.

This book has been a godsend. As a "latebloomer" I have only recently began the coming out process, and upon entering into a relationship, I was plagued with questions. The authors of this book tackled the intricacies of lesbian lovemaking with honesty and compassion, and at the same time were not afraid to give practical instructions, the sort of things that I needed to know but was too embarassed to ask. Not only did it give me the tools to satisfy my partner, but it helped me to become more confident with lovemaking, and with my sexuality as a whole. I recommend it highly to anyone in a relationship with a woman or who is in the process of dealing with her own lesbian identity.

I thought I knew all that I needed to know about pleasing a woman, then I picked up this book. I can't explain in words, how much information, very useful information, that is in this book. This is by far the best book out there, for women who love women. Actually best read out there for anyone who wants to please a woman!!

I thought Lesbian Sex Tips was great for me as a beginner. It had step by steps on how to make love to a woman, which was something I really needed. I was also really happy that the authors included chapters on STDs and things like that, because I wasn't even thinking that women could get those kinds of diseases from each other. I also liked the chapter about communication and I learned a lot that I didn't know. To me, the book is just right for a beginner. It didn't scare me with being too graphic, and it gave a lot of good information about a woman's anatomy too. I learned about the G Spot, and all kinds of positions I'd never thought about either. I also went to the publisher's website, and I was really happy to see they have all kinds of free resources for young women there.

I only agreed to read this book because my girlfriend asked me to...but once I started I could not put it down. I have always been amazed by the sexuality of women, but never felt like I understood what they needed in the area of love making. This book helped my girlfriend and I to reach a higher level of intimacy and sexual pleasure. Five stars!

Having recently "come out" as a lesbian, I was full of self doubt and insecurities. This guide was a gift to myself and it opened my mind, not only to how to please another woman, but how to do it safely, and confidently. I highly recommened it to anyone, male or female, who wants to be informed on loving women.

I thought before I read this book that I would know most of what was in it already...but I had no idea of the scope of what was inside. I'm impressed. The authors went from a to z, not leaving any stone unturned. The chapters on anatomy, safe sex and making love are well written. And I personally am glad they included the chapters on communication, abuse, counselling, etc. The rights & discrimination section, especially Heterosexual Privileges, I found intriguing. It is obviously based on life in the USA, and as the authors are Americans, that would make sense. Things are a little different here in Canada, but there are still some similarities. Including the list of resources at the end of the book was a great idea...I'm sure many people will find this helpful. I'm positive that many people will find the WHOLE book helpful.
