intelligent, emotional, gripping theater,

Dreher has done it again with Lesbian Stages. Her plays are insightful courageous works. I strongly suggest anyone looking for a good read to pick up a copy. Also, most of her plays can be adapted to the stage easily and contain roles for middle-aged women (as well as others) that are so hard for theater companies to find. If you're tired of third rate stuff and sit-coms or Annie, take some time of a true lift up.
