Fascinating essays featuring fabulous writing, May 27, 2007
This review is from: Lesbian Texts and Contexts: Radical Revisions (Feminists Crosscurrents) (Paperback)
My favorite piece is `Cruising the Libraries' where Lee Lynch tells of her adventures and struggles in the 1950's through the 1960 (and I imagine well into the 1970's) in finding literature with people like herself and in the telling give us a list of books that are must reads.
I especially liked the detailed `works cited' after each essay.

This is a keeper!
From the back of the book - This book is the first anthology to discuss the subject of lesbianism as it relates to the critical interaction among readers, writers and literary critics. It explores lesbian texts in terms of identification, meaning and interpretation, and examines the complex entanglements of identity, voice, intersubjectivity, textualities, and sexualities.
