Editorial Reviews

Review

"The Lesions of Genetic Sin is hallucinogenic and surreal. A poem of gossamer layering, of speculations upon genetics and the soul, of inward and outward searching, of the blurring of distinctions between the living and the dead in a brave new world more strange than that of Mr. Huxley's most enlightened nightmare." -- G. O. Clark, Star*Line 23.2

3.0 out of 5 stars On Bruce Boston's "The Lesions of Genetic Sin", June 22, 2011
This review is from: The Lesions of Genetic Sin (Paperback)
An evocative broadside-length piece about mutation. Mutation of men, the dead, and probably the ones in between. "The Lesions of Genetic Sin" is a breathtaking long poem that has all the makings of a snow globe: deceptively lightweight, and once shaken violently, it reveals its beauty. Not to mention that it includes the most original of wordplays: "bodysalt," "vile-urchin-argot graffiti," and the sensual "corolla's velvet violet insistence..."
