If you have any experience of gum paste flowers you will love this book. Excellent clear step by step colour pictures and good explanatory text. Glorious pictures of finished cakes and flower bouquets. Not for the beginner though as some of the techiniques are quite complex. Buy this book if you are looking for inspiration and a challenge .

I THINK THIS IS AN EXCELLENT BOOK FOR ANYONE WHO KNOWS THE BASICS OF SUGAR FLOWER MAKING AND WOULD LIKE TO LEARN MORE. ITS WELL WRITTEN AND GIVES DETAILED INSTRUCTION AND MANY FLOWERS TO MAKE THAT ARE HARD TO TELL FROM THE REAL THING.
I LOVE IT.

This is a very lovely book. Full of great information for the more advanced decorator. It is a fine one to add to your permanent library, especially if you really enjoy making fondant/gumpaste flowers. She offers some of the more interesting and unusual flowers. She is from the U.K. so some of the flowers are not ones we get in the U.S.A. Most of these flowers require cutters, but she does include some that do not. There are good step by step directions, provided you do have some knowledge of this medium. The only flower that I can't find a cutter for here is the carnation and it looks as though it would be a great way to make it, too.

This is a beautiful book to look at - amazing flowers. However, I felt it was more of a "show off" book, rather than an actual "how-to" book. I wanted another book, but it was apparently out of print, so I chose this one. I think, for my purposes, it was too costly for the material covered.

Once again another book is available for the budding or experienced artist. Even if you are experienced there is always a little something different from each artist.

I ordered this book to try and learn to make gumpaste flowers. My flowers turned out great!!! I was able to use the books instructions and techniques to help me make flowers that were both in and not in this book simply by following the same steps with the flower that I wanted to make. GREAT BOOK IF YOU ARE WANTING TO LEARN AND YOU ARE FAMILIAR WITH REAL FLOWERS!!!!

Very good book. Very well written. Easy to understand and follow. I would highly recommend the book.

I am just starting out with gum paste and sugar flowers. This book has a wide variety of different flowers.

I recently starting learning more detailed sugar flowers. A friend found this book and loaned it to me. After getting thru the first chapter, I HAD to order one for myself. Excellent instructional book. You won't regret purchasing it and it only took a week to receive it :-)

Excellent service. Book received in good condition and packaged well. Look forward to making some of the flowers in cold porcelain as per Alan Dunns demonstrations when in NZ a few years ago.
