SO HAPPY i found this great little book!
in this easily sped through, extremely handy little book, leslie linsley points out the fundamentals of home decorating and how to do them on a limited budget, to beautiful results! very detailed yet never over the layman's head, i was amazed at the specificity of her knowledge of all decorating and remodeling subjects-from kitchen ware to curtains, door frames to drapes...

I was disappointed by the lack of variety...I feel that she overstressed her personal preference for white.

in this easily sped through, extremely handy little book, leslie linsley points out the fundamentals of home decorating and how to do them on a limited budget, to beautiful results! very detailed yet never over the layman's head, i was amazed at the specificity of her knowledge of all decorating and remodeling subjects-from kitchen ware to curtains, door frames to drapes! really, this is a cool, fun book and a great addition to anyone's library, esp. those seeking to beautify their home without breaking their wallets!

I read this book cover to cover while visiting relatives. As a person with a miniscule budget, tiny house and little decorating experience, I found this book very reassuring. I dog-eared many pages and finished the book feeling as though it is, indeed, possible to improve the look of my abode without a lot of money.
