Editorial Reviews

Leslie Lemke was born premature and put up for adoption at birth. His eyes were surgically removed before he was six months old. With brain damage and cerebral palsy he was left in the care of May Lemke to die. But the miracle of love made a difference. Leslie was given the gift of music. While he cannot care for himself, he can listen to a song once and play it flawlessly. For all who love to view the impossible, this DVD is a must have. This DVD starts with Dr. Darold A Treffert explaining the Savant Syndrome and how Leslie is one in a billion. Join Leslie in concert and view his special tribute to all the disabled war veterans and especially those from Vietnam.

5.0 out of 5 stars A True Modern Day Miracle, November 16, 2007

This review is from: Leslie Lemke Live in Pittsville (DVD)
I have seen Leslie live and in fact was at the concert where this DVD was made. Leslie can play and sing anything he hears, instantly after hearing it just once. And he never forgets.

He was born with severe brain damage and cannot even carry on a normal conversation. He is blind, suffers from cerebral palsey and a host of other problems and has never had a music lesson in his life.

Leslie is truly a mondern day miracle
