This video starts out slow, but then takes you further than other Leslie Sansone videos. The only ones that really give me a good workout are 2 Mile Walk and 1,2,3 Mile Super Fat Burner and the later starts out slow, too. That is great if I don't have the energy at first, because you will get some energy that carriers on long after the workout. I do the jogging, but...

I am just trying to get back in shape and using videos to do it. This is my second Leslie Sansone video, third low impact aerobic video. I don't really like it. I have her 2 mile walk and love it. It made me want to get more of her videos but I think I will stick with her stuff from 1996 on.

I feel that the 2 mile walk gave me a better, more varied, low impact work...

This video starts out slow, but then takes you further than other Leslie Sansone videos. The only ones that really give me a good workout are 2 Mile Walk and 1,2,3 Mile Super Fat Burner and the later starts out slow, too. That is great if I don't have the energy at first, because you will get some energy that carriers on long after the workout. I do the jogging, but there are times I don't and do the walking alternative. The music is upbeat and everyone looks great, which really helps inspire me. At the end of the workout there are outer thigh and glute floorwork. I was surprised on how effective it was for a Leslie Sansone video, and I have done some Firm tapes to know what a challenge is. There is also abdominal work at the end, too.

I just got this video and I can say that it is every bit as effective and fun as Leslie's other videos. I have 2 of her workout programs (one with weighted gloves and another with soft weighted balls). While walking in place may sound simplistic and silly to some people - do not be fooled by the simplicity. This really works. You will get your heart rate up and burn fat. I currently do not have the stamina or flexibility (due to previous injuries) to do a heavy duty workout. THIS IS DOABLE FOR ME - even my 81 year old dad can do this workout. Leslie's workouts are simple and realistic (you won't see ultra perfect bodies in the background only real people - and - in the privacy of your own home when ever you choose to you can fit this into your schedule and see real results! Anyone out there who hates to exercise, or believes they're unable to follow an exercise program, please buy this. It will change your thinking and your life!

This is a great tape. I would tell you to buy it and enjoy it. The gal at work started to do this tape and also another one from Leslie and she watched what she ate and lost now 35 lbs. I said if she can do it I can. I got the tape and I have lost 15 lbs and a lot of inches. It is not a hard tape and she does talk alot so I kinda lower the voice but she is good. You will love it and want to own more then one of her tapes. I have 4 of her tapes. I rotate it every day with a different one. Take the time and say I am going to do it for ME! Aloha from Hawaii

I'm a Leslie fan. I'm in my forties and in good shape. I think it's too bad some people are not giving this set very enthusiastic reviews.

The two mile walk is an interval session with Leslie alone; the intervals are toning with weights. The four mile walk has jogging intervals and lifting arms intervals. At the end there are 15 min. of tough-on-the-"back end"-muscles toning without weights (you could add ankle weights).

I was happily surprised to run across this DVD in the store. I don't mind the old date or neon costumes. The workouts were both a lot of fun--I did them back-to-back. I really have to wonder about people who can't figure out how to keep themselves from getting injured in a workout. Tip: if it hurts, modify it or don't do it.

I am just trying to get back in shape and using videos to do it. This is my second Leslie Sansone video, third low impact aerobic video. I don't really like it. I have her 2 mile walk and love it. It made me want to get more of her videos but I think I will stick with her stuff from 1996 on.

I feel that the 2 mile walk gave me a better, more varied, low impact work in 25 minutes than this did in approx. 40 min. The 2 mile walk does a few more different types of moves and I also feel that it changes them up more to make it more interesting. The timer on the two mile also keeps me going while this video I was just waiting for it to end. I have only used twice and can't get into it. I don't look forward to it if I have decided to put it on.

The set is very cheesy. There are gaps in the music. It does have some jogging segments but during it I feel the low impact option feels like it just drags on. I have not tried the toning section at the end yet.

I am still willing to give other Leslie Sansone's videos a chance because I truly love the 2 mile walk.

I have been doing the Richard Simmons tape, and really did not enjoy it! I bought this tape and the movements are simple, yes simple nothing complicated, oh its an overweight person's dream believe me! I just got the tape today and did the whole thing, This is a Great Tape! It starts out slow then speeds up for the fat burning process, then slows down and adds 15mins. floor exercises. It is very routine and not alot of changes in movements, 4 major movements, sometimes modified with hand movements. This is a great start for the beginner! It makes YOU want to use it again and again, because YOU can do it, simple steps but feel the sweat while doing them! So if you are overweight and out of shape, start with this tape!

How can any one resist getting Leslie's tapes! I have just about all of them and do a different one each day. She is so sweet and motivating that you want to continue. She has a happy personality and certainly keeps you going. If you don't like to walk outside or use walkers, steppers, etc., get her tapes and you certainly won't be disappointed. She uses a simple walking step, with a side step, simple kick, knee bends, arm movements -- nothing hard to do or to hurt yourself. I cannot recommend her tapes highly enough. She is the best!

I have 3 other videos by Leslie that I really like, but this one just doesn't measure up. First of all, it is very amateurish compared to later tapes. There are gaps in the music that are distracting. Also in her "Walk Away" and "Express" videos, there is a friendly back and forth between her and the people exercising with her. In this one, Leslie just talks and talks alone, which is very dull. Another thing: they jog in this one, not just walk, but for some reason, I got more of a workout with her Walk-Away-the-Pounds 3-mile tape, than with this supposedly 4-mile tape. Overall, I wish I'd left this one in the store.

If you're just getting back into fitness or starting for the first time, this is a great place to begin. The steps (4 total throughout the entire 45 mins) are easy, but they tend to get old. Leslie is a great motivator and will help you get started back in the right direction. I enjoy the company and the instruction (but no so much the music), so I turn up Latin/Club mix music in the background and walk away! I would buy another walk-aerobics product. You would need a little more variety than just owning one tape (ANYTHING would get boring THAT way).

I really enjoy doing Leslie's tapes. I was a little disappointed in this one, though. It's a bit longer (45 min.) and faster-paced (has a jogging aerobics section with a walk aerobics alternative). Usually the people in her videos are club members...this one has the walk aerobics instructors (who all look great). For a longer video, I thought it used a lot of the same steps too repetitively. Even her shorter videos really vary the steps so you don't get bored.

I will use this video because it is easy and you do exercise for a longer period at moderate intensity, which Leslie says we need to do for fat burning. However, I find myself substituting other of her walk aerobics moves when I'm tired of doing knee lifts and side steps.
