This is not my first or only Leslie Sansone walking DVD. This one picks up the pace that I need for some days. The included pedometer makes this DVD a value. It's good to have one or two different 3-mile walks for days with more time and energy. 2-mile and 1-mile walks can be used at other times. The beauty of the Leslie Sansone DVDs is: once you have one mastered then a new DVD is simply a variation, nothing new to learn. It's easy, doable at any age (my 60+ proof), and for the physically fit or unfit (but wanting to get better).

Throughout a workout, Sansone encourages individual adjustments to the activity to fit the walker's own needs. "No mistakes workouts," she says. It works for my uncoordinated, rhythm-challenged, legs and mind. Yet it doesn't seem a chore to get in the daily walk. Fun? Yes. Sweat? That too.

My walks with Sansone began after a heart attack. I found the stretching, light weight work, walking, upper arm movements, well...everything about the Leslie Sansone workouts are just what I was taught to be doing during my cardio-rehab sessions. DVD workouts are enough to work up a sweat, loose some weight, & offer cardio-health BUT WITHOUT any heart risk.

There are many expensive sets of weights, exercise equipment, and gym memberships available...BUT...I have found that 2 or 3 of Leslie Sansone's DVDs are much cheaper and get me the same result as a hospital gym's fancy walking, riding, stepping, rowing, and lifting apparatus. And I can do it on my own schedule, in my own home, even in the lawn if I choose. See, the DVDs can be heard through my window screens and the movements so easy that I can follow along with Sansone in my back yard. It can't get any more fun than that for me. Walking with nature. Low impact cardio with cardinals.

BEWARE-This set is just Leslie Sansone's "Walk At Home Walk Slim - Fast Start 1 & 2 Mile Walk / 3 Fast Miles (2-DVD)" repackaged with a pedometer. Needless to say I was disappointed when I opened the box to find a DVD I aleady owned and then had to mess around with sending it back. With that being said this is one of her better programs so if you do not already have this DVD it is worth adding to your collection.

As a devoted fan of Leslie Sansone, I was eager to try this new workout that offered three fast miles of interval walking. I was quite disappointed when I received the DVD, only to find that it was actually a workout from three years ago. Though I didn't previously own this workout, I felt "taken" as a customer for buying this reproduction for what I considered a high price. Leslie is the queen of walking workouts yet she needs to create new moves and new routines that will capture fans, veterans and newbies alike. Her Walk Yourself Thin series from last year delivered just that so I know that Leslie is capable of offering more workouts that are not re-packaged and re-marketed as something new.

That said, I did enjoy this workout. There are two workout choices -- three fast miles and two miles of interval walking. I especially enjoyed the two miles of intervals, as I found it to be intense and rigorous for a relative short workout.
