I've been a big fan of Leslie Sansone's walk away the pounds video tapes and DVDs. Because they are so easy to do, they are wonderful exercise for those of us who have a lot of weight to lose and maybe aren't quite up to jazzy dancing.

But when the weather is nicer, I like to get outside and walk. This great CD contains Leslie's trademark encouragement and enthusiasm helping you keep up the pace, and some wonderful, bouncy music that is really fun to walk to. Even so, I never got much use out of the CD because I never really wanted to cart around a CD player with me.

However, this Christmas marked a banner year for Apple iPod and other MP3 player sales. I know I take my iPod everywhere with me and many, many people now have MP3 players.

Since I can "rip" any audio CD to put it on my iPod, it finally dawned on me that I could buy the Leslie Sansone audio CDs and put them on my iPod to give me an easy, portable way to take them outside with me.

Voila! This has worked out great and I am really enjoying giving my outside walks a little more pep by using her programs on my iPod.

Note that this series of CDs is intended to replace Leslie's video tapes, so they are really meant to use indoors in a limited space. But the bouncy music is great for walking outdoors too!
