Good Read
#7 in Rimmer's Jones Gang books, and the second of the sub-series trilogy with the Jones sisters. I really enjoyed this one, not least because I could never quite see where it was headed. I mean, it is a Catergory Romance, so we know the HEA is inevitable. But the pacing and rhythm of this one was different, and it kept me interested. I liked both leads, and...

I really enjoyed this one, not least because I could never quite see where it was headed. I mean, it is a Catergory Romance, so we know the HEA is inevitable. But the pacing and rhythm of this one was different, and it kept me interested. I liked both leads, and I bought the sense of history between all the characters. And I had a good time with the action and drama at the end. Just a side note: The hero's family was supposed to be eccentric, but you can't help but think that his money just allows them to be incredibly self indulgent. |
