I've read many leadership books, and this one is the most easy to grasp while also being very comprehensive. Dale Burke does an excellent job summarizing Christian leadership into eight disciplines contained within three concentric circles of the leader's heart. He takes Scriptural concepts and applies them to the work of ministry in a fresh new way.

I recommend this book highly as a primer on leadership within a local church. This title can be very helpful to a Christian lay leader. To a Christian minister, it can even be a God-send.

Never have I read a better book on leadership. I have been in the work place for a good time now, and never has a book affected the way I do business like this one has. Whether you are a leader in a Church or in the market place, read this book!
