Every golf course poses its own particular problems, so the key, as Leadbetter explains, is to have solid fundamentals that you can deploy as the course demands. The video begins with a basic lesson on warming up, and then Leadbetter and an amateur golfer head onto the course for a day of teaching.

Leadbetter's lessons tend to be fairly detailed, but he also presents them in a down-to-earth manner, often pointing out errors an amateur is bound to make in a certain situation. The emphasis is always on the amateur player, such as when Leadbetter provides some frank advice about club selection, noting that many casual players "let their ego get in the way" in thinking they can drive the ball farther than they can.
