When Susanna Diaz, aerospace engineer and single mom, and widowed photographer Daniel Stephens are called into the principal's office over difficulties with their teenagers, they have no idea that they are about to become the victims of their devious daughters' matchmaking intentions. But Katrina and Terry have decided that their parents are perfect for each other, and they're not leaving anything to chance. A weekend school camping trip definitely helps things along, and so does Susanna and Daniel's being attracted to each other in spite of themselves. Likable characters (although the stock "other man/woman" are less than effective), nicely handled sexual tension, and a fast pace propel this short, light romance with a Parent Trap flavor to its predictable conclusion. One of Pinnacle's new bilingual Encanto romances, this should be of particular interest to libraries that serve Latino communities. Garcia lives in Tucson, AZ.
