This review is from: Lessons from an Optical Illusion: On Nature and Nurture, Knowledge and Values (Paperback)
I read both books of E. M. Hundert. In a field where bad philosophy is often mixed with weak science, we don't have anything better to reflect upon. I recommend it to all my colleagues, both psychiatrists and philosophers, who want to have "clear and distinct ideas", to consider it the most complete and consistent work on epistemology of human sciences, where neither "human" nor "science" be spoiled or deleted. Thanks to you, I have come back to be interested in a field which I had found mined by confusion and paradoxes.I hope to read some more books by Hundert! |
