I have watched Peter Murane practice the daily game of Battle Tested Innovation for 6 years. He is truly an experienced innovator in this space, and a highly paid consultant to companies such as P&G, Clorox, and General Mills, and Orange Glo International.

After reading this book, and knowing his work as well as I do, I can attest to the fact that he has filled this book with the actual strategies and tactics he uses on the firing line every day.

The most useful chapters to me were Chapter 2 - Let Go of Precision and Chapter 6 - Battle Testing. These chapters represent, to me, the answer to many of the deeply ingrained flaws in the "normal" processes of bringing products to market.
