This is by far the best band of this Genre, Koffin Kats are pretty awesome too, but Blitzkid is unique, their songs are so well written and they keep getting better, check out Apparitional if you want to compare. Keep it up fella's you guys rock!

This is the best band of this kind of genre that exists today. The Misfits were great but they have since turned to dust. We will always have their records. But its up to bands that are still around to carry the torch like Groovie Ghoulies and Blitzkid. This cd is great. As a horror fan I totally dig all the songs on this cd. Hellraiser and Candyman are bad ass and you can tell that Blitzkid are horror fans too. Dying Day and These Walls too...Its all good. I'm not going to review Traces of a Stranger b/c its just as good as this one in all the same ways. Melodic Punk Rock with drop D guitars. The best 30 minutes you'll get listening to music. enjoy

Horror punk perfected,

Being a die hard Misfits fan, it's almost blasphemous I'm saying this, but Blitzkid has taken what The Misfits created, and perfected it. This album doesn't have a bad song on it. You can listen to it from start to finish without switching tracks. Melodic, yet heavy, this album has something to offer to any punk, death rocker, psychobilly, or rockabilly.

The Horror Continues!,

Aargh,I made the mistake of ordering this along with Trace of a Stranger without listening to em' first. This one is slightly more listenable due to the afformentioned a.f.i. element being less noticable. More songs about lame 80's horror films. Candyman?!?!? These guy's score some more annoy points by not knowing whether they want to be a metal band or a pop-punk band. I'm open to alot of different music but this closes the door on blitzkid for me. Buy The Misfits:Satic Age, The Cramps:Songs the Lord Taught Us or T.S.O.L.'s:Dance With Me instead!
