5.0 out of 5 stars Flying Live, November 17, 2000
By A Customer
This review is from: Let It Fly (Audio CD)
This is a great live album. The encouragement inside the album's cover to play it loud is well taken. This is a terrific sounding live record. Highlights include "Clouds", and "Away with the Swine". I also appreciated the inclusion of the acoustic "Beautiful, Scandolous Night". The only thing that detracts from the quality of this album is some sloppy editing. I know they wanted to capture the "live" feel with this record, but including the requesting for help with cleaning up at the end of the show should have been removed from the recording. Overall, it is terrific aside from the lack of editing. PLAY IT LOUD

5.0 out of 5 stars The premiere Christian alternative band goes live!, November 7, 2000
This review is from: Let It Fly (Audio CD)
This cd is an awesome collection of some of their best songs of the pre-"Flap Your Wings" days. The sound quality is really good for most of the songs, but my only complaint is that the songs were not from the same concert, so the concert "ends" ("God bless you guys, have a good night") about 3 or 4 times, and there's a lot of dead airtime at the end of a couple of songs. However, that doesn't detract from the overall quality of this cd. It well worth adding to any collection, and it just proves that they CAN reproduce their studio sound in a live concert. Great job, guys!
