I find it amusing that when ever someone who disagrees with a conservative, they try to defeat him/her by slaming thier character in attempts to destroy them. Over the years that I've watched and listened to his program, he always treats the people that he disagrees with kindness and compassion. This book is no different, essentially his show in written form. He always welcomes an open rational dicussion with other viewpoints. Read this along with Ann Coulter's book, "Slander"

TOP 1000 REVIEWERon December 14, 2003
What a day;what a coincidence!I just finished this book last evening;and got up this morning to the news that Saddam Hussein had been captured. This sure throws some cold water on the party the left wingers have been having with all their negativism that they have been generating with the US efforts in dealing with terrorism. We have all heard about crocodile tears, but boy did we see a demonstration of crocodile smiles on tv tonight from the Democtat Presidental hopefuls.Any more news like this and the left wingers will be trying to promote eating crow as a delicacy.
This is the first book by Hannity that I have read;and I found it an excellent description of what the left wing liberals have as their agendas and the dismal failures that have resulted anywhere they have been implemented;be it in the US or other countries, including Canada.
Hannity demonstrates that with the liberal left there is no room for a difference of opinion and when their agendas are challenged ;their strongest weapon is to turn to character assassination and name calling;particularly designating people to be racists.
These leftists have sure cast a very different shadow on the party of JFK,Truman and FDR.Since the times of these great leaders, what we see now are people who want to dither, dodge, doodle and demagogue.
If you don't believe that the biggest threat to left wing liberals is liberty and success;read this book and open your mind to reality.
The left may be sincere, but they're sincerely wrong;especially in their conviction that they know better than the people what's good for them.

If someone did not give this book 5 stars they did not read it. It is so eloquently written and filled with so many quotes and facts that the book needs over 30 pages on footnotes.
I read a lot of political books on both sides of the spectrum and this one stands out as the best. Everyone should read it before forming an opinion... it is literally a life-changing read.

My political stance is more libertarian, however I found Sean's book to be a compelling analysis of the issues facing America, both present and past. Sean does not come off as a 'Republican Apologist', and we all know there is no shortage of stupidity and corruption from either side of the political spectrum. "Let Freedom Ring" was encouraging to me, and did challenge me in a few places. I encourage anyone biased against Sean Hannity by way of "Hannity and Colmes" or his talk show to check it out.

Sean Hannity has written a great book that is full of great facts and insight. Most don't know how the city of Galveston TX opted out of the Social Security system and how wonderful that has been for them but Sean covers that in the book. He also covers lots of other issues, all relevant to today and does it with great style. If you are the least bit conservative in your political views you will really enjoy this great read. I live in TN and Sean helped us keep the fight against a state income tax in the news. We defeated it for now, but without media exposure, the battle would have been lost. Awesome guy, Awesome book.

Wow, just wow. You let liberals get control of the education system and this is what you get:
Just another Rush Limbaugh Wannabee, December 18, 2003
Reviewer: A reader from NJ United States "...He [another reviewer] criticizes democratic intellect, yet he obviously CANT READ so he had to use the Audio book! .... Its sad that there are actually people out there who look at hannity & Rush as gospel. Like Al Franken says, Right wingers love America the way an infant loves his mom: The mom can do nothing wrong, & everyone who says otherwise is their enemy. These guys have to wake up & realize that theres massive unemploymenr (2 million net loss of jobs under Bush) terrorism, imperialism, & unconditional support of Israel. We need to pull together to solve our problems, not IGNORE them like Hannity preaches." It's always hilarious when liberals try to write something coherent. First, this prodigy spelled "wannabe," "unemployment," and "there's" wrong and forgot to capitalize Hannity. Not to nitpick, but if you're gonna write a review calling someone else an idiot, you shouldn't use terrible grammar. Second of all, at least the guy he was talking about read the book in some way: this cretin obviously hasn't even picked up the book. Hannity doesn't advocate ignoring any problems, in fact he advocates many new solutions (SDI, the flat tax, school vouchers, actually keeping the CIA intact [*cough* liberals *cough*]). Liberals would rather fondly stick with their old ideas that have been proved wrong approximately 129 times. How many times do tax cuts need to stimulate the economy before these tax-fetish libs admit that they were wrong? Also, I love the part where our anonymous friend from New Jersey talks about "terrorism" and "imperialism" and "unconditional support for Israel. What terrorist attacks have occurred since September 11th?? What countries has the big mean ol' U.S. imperialistically taken over?? And what the hell is this unconditional support for Israel?? President Bush has given Israel absolutely no leeway in defending themselves and has actually been promoting his Roadmap to Peace which gives the Palestinians huge concessions!! Have you ever bothered to read a credible newspaper or the New York Times in your whole life?? Obviously this guy just read what Al Franken said and assumed that all of it was true. It's scary to think that such ignorant individuals exist in this troubled time.

As a Libertarian, I thought Let Freedom Ring was a decent book that brings out several key issues that face America. However, I was not impressed with the name-calling and obvious finger pointing that oozed through the entire book. This is clearly a book written by a passionate conservative and to his credit, it is okay. That's what free speech is all about! However, more facts and less name-calling are required in order for anyone to take it seriously.

For the people who don't have enough time to listen to talk radio and get the real truth and real news, pick up this book and read for a few hours a night. You level of understanding of the liberal left, and how despicable the democrats and liberals are will increase dramatically. Most of the news that you hear form the liberal left (almost every TV news station, and just about every major news paper) is filtered, anti-conservative, anti-republican, leans towards democrats, and is an out right joke. Listen to talk radion, read books like this and you'll undertand the truth and why these people do the things they do.

An excellent summary on how the Left continues to lie to clueless people who don't bother to look for the facts. Don't miss two other great conservative books: Bias by Bernard Goldberg, and of course, Slander. Isn't it amazing and wonderful that these three books have made the New York Times Bestseller list? Attention conservative authors: Keep the truth coming!

Gut-wrenching plain talk drive this page-turner. Hannity spares no one, exploring the systematic policies that virtually destroyed U.S. intellegence capabilities. After reading this book, one can see how 9-11 could have happened. Hannity cites sources extensively, backing up his assertions with facts that anyone with a computer can look up for themselves. This is a must-read for anyone who wants to know who knoew what-when and what needs to be done to prevent another 9-11. I hope the national policymakers read this books and acknowlege the facts.
