In my short time as part of the Kindle Clan, I have come to the conclusion that one of two things happen with certain books :
1: Either the author creates bogus Amazon accounts and gives themselves glowing reviews. or
2: Family and friends feel obliged to give good reviews for books they have,(or more likely) have not read.
I say becuase clearly I really question if any of the previous reviewers have even read this book?
I knew something was amiss when I read the following
"The salty air and the smell of wild gress grew stronger as they carried on. The landscape in northeastern Ohio was breathaking,"
I am not from the USA, but EVEN I know that Ohio is not on the coast of an ocean, but on the great lakes - fresh water lakes! How do you put "salty air" and "Ohio" in the same paragraph?
Further, the time line is totally inconsistant. To my understanding the book takes place over a period of 7 - 10 days, but they are "these past few months have some of the happiest of my life"!
Too many other things to mention - and it's frankly not worth the time!
I am at least happy about two things:
1: This book was free - I would have been seriously anoyed had I paid for it.
2: This book was short - so although I persevered out of morbid facination - it did not steal too much of my life!
