5.0 out of 5 stars A New Fan
This is the first P,C and D CD that I have heard/owned. This will not be the last one that I will buy. The song selection, the lyrics, the arrangements, and the God-given talent have been a blessing to me. I cannot count the number of times that I have listened to this CD and it is always fresh and full of God's annointing. No fluff or filler here; this CD is a keeper!

3.0 out of 5 stars If you can't say anything nice... then Let Your Words Be Few
I'm a huge PCD fan, but I must admit that I was disappointed with this CD. I love the title track and "Open the eyes of my heart", but the rest are kinda ho-hum (Maybe they just haven't "grown" on me yet!).

Variety is lacking in this album... all of the songs are really slow... almost fell asleep...

If you are like me, and you don't want to shell out 15 clams for any...

5.0 out of 5 stars modern worship sound, not folksy..., December 2, 2001
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Let My Words Be Few (Audio CD)
I was a little hesitant to buy this one, until I heard the title track and clips. This is so creative. There are old AND new worship songs, and let me tell you the arrangements are so well done. It's almost "not" a worship CD, in the typical sense, because it's not folksy or churchy. It is so beautiful, mellow, and loving. It is obvious much planning went into making these songs unique and special, it's not just a guitar with a folksy worship sound..but more of the contemperary style, for which PCD is known for. I can't say enough about it. Dan Dean wrote the beautiful, "Pour my love on you". These guys can sing. If you ever get the chance to hear them in concert, go. They are great performers. This will be the only worship CD I need.

5.0 out of 5 stars A Great Worship CD, September 10, 2003

This CD is wonderful. It has great worship music with great music to back the lyrics up. I enjoyed how the three Pastors use their voices and how some songs are sung with a choir. You can really feel the power and the energy in the songs. The music in the background is great too; it is almost synthetic but not in a distraction manner. My favorite song on the CD is "Open the Eyes of my Heart." They do a magnificent job that delivers so much power and emotion. I would recommend buying this CD if you like to sing along to great Christian music that is not changed creatively by the artist! The songs are sung in a traditional manner. I listen to this CD every Sunday night when I am driving home from church, I would definitely recommend it to someone that loves to worship the Lord.

5.0 out of 5 stars UP lifting, March 11, 2003

This CD from trio Phillips, Craig, and Dean is a collection of worship songs with a good blend of choruses that might be sung in church and more traditional special music type songs. Either way, every song focuses the listener on God.

On the well known side, this CD includes modern worship classics "Heart of Worship," "Open the Eyes of My Heart," and "You are my King." These songs get the full treatment with wonderful harmonies. The guys get into the writing act on such songs as "Pour My Love On You," "How Great You Are," (a personal favorite from the disc) and "Your Grace Still Amazes Me."

It's hard to listen to this CD and not have your focus shifted fully to God. Every time I stick it in, I find myself praising God for all He has done for us.

While a few of the songs stand out above the others, I love every song in this collection. If you're looking for a great praise and worship CD, you'll be hard pressed to find something better then this.

5.0 out of 5 stars I can't "Let My Words Be Few" about PCD!, March 3, 2002
This review is from: Let My Words Be Few (Audio CD)
I can't stop listening to this wonderful modern worship CD by Phillips, Craig and Dean! Not only are there well-known and beloved worship songs (like "You Are My King" and "Open The Eyes of My Heart") but also there are some new ones in here that I absolutely love. I have to say that these new worship songs have really touched me. "Let My Words Be Few" is the title song and it's a constant reminder of how I should be in my walk with God. "Pour My Love On You" written by Dean Dan and it moves me so deeply. I love the words and I feel like it expresses my love for my Lord so explicitly! This song is so good. "How Great You Are" is another one of my favorites... "Your Grace Still Amazes Me"... This song is so tender and honest... oh, you just need to hear it to know what I mean. I was listening to this song as I was walking home one day and I was seriously in tears. The upbeat and fast paced worship songs are great, too! I can't even describe in words how great these songs are. Most of these songs focus on the true relationship that we should have with our God & Jesus Christ. It really is a great daily reminder for me. All I have to say is that PCD really out did themselves this time. This CD is my current "it" CD.

5.0 out of 5 stars Truly Exceptional, January 17, 2002
By A Customer
This review is from: Let My Words Be Few (Audio CD)
I like PCD, but don't love them, however, when I heard this cd, I was transported to focusing on God rather than the singers or the song. I use it to embellish my time to praise the Lord and it is truly inspiring. By the way, now that I've had it for a while, I *have* noticed how beautifully Philips, Craig, and Dean sing. I've been fighting over it w/my husband, so now I have to buy a few more copies...

Yes, PC & D fans and Christian music fans this has to be the best yet in the great spirit filled collection of this groups cds. All three men are so gifted and talented in their style and convey the deep message of love and salvation of Jesus Christ through their smooth style of praise and worship. The cd "Let My Words Be Few" is a prime example of such a Godly standard. From the start of the albumn with "Come Now is the Time for Worship" to "Your Grace Still Amazes Me" you can feel the love of Jesus and awesome worship through each of these songs that makes you want to praise the Lord along with them. And rightfully so. So, if you are looking for a great uplifting albumn and another great addition to your Christian music then get this cd! But if you are familar with this groups previous albumns then you should all ready know that is a great albumn!

This is such an awesome album! Every single song touched my heart in some way. "Pour My Love on You" and "Your Grace Still Amazes Me" are two of the best worship songs I've ever heard. These songs are full of emotion and just so beautiful. I love this CD.

5.0 out of 5 stars One of my favorite worship cd's, August 9, 2002
This review is from: Let My Words Be Few (Audio CD)
These guys are truly anointed to bring us into the presence of the Lord. I have the "Favorite Songs of All" compliation CD and was very excited about this project when I heard their arrangement of "Heart of Worship". I love this version as well as Michael W. Smith's. This CD will never become dated to this little lady. I don't know if this review will help much, I would rather you get this CD and hear for youself. Be blessed...
