Teresa of Avila has a way of making you think more deeply during a devotional time than you would normally think. She gets straight to your soul and makes you connect your spirit to the Holy Spirit. Her faith is practical and meaningful for all. Irregardless of denomination, don't miss this!

I really like the ideas in this book and the set up. I have two toddlers and about 5 minutes(or less) in the morning is all I can dedicate to a book like this. I used it during lent, but it would be good anytime.

If you are searching for a great little book to establish a daily Christian meditation cycle - this is the one to get!It sure brings great comfort to the soul and guides you on a daily basis through various meditative thoughts about God with daily morning and evening prayers which truly focusses on the essence of our connection to our maker and is a wonderful,inspirational comfort in times of confusion and distress - or can be simply a great help to take our minds out of the daily business we can get lost in so easily.
