If you are looking for insight into a prayer life, you need this book. Becky's zest for the word of God and for prayer come through on every page. Very often as Christians we are not sure how to pray. Even if you don't follow her suggestions for an hour a day prayer time, the time you do spend in converstion with God will be more productive and joyful as a result. Writing prayers and having as set time has made it easier to get out of bed in the morning and face the day with hope and joy.

This book is fantastic. I have always prized my prayer life, but I wasn't even really praying until I read this book. Through her own spell-binding story, the great stories of others and practical ideas...Becky convinced me that prayer could change my life. AND IT DID!

Becky's dynamic personality and easy reading style makes this a great book to buy for yourself or give as a gift. She gives practical suggestions that WORK but is more concerned with you deepening your relationship with God than giving a bunch of to do's that just make you feel guilty. I would rate this one of the top ten Christian books that will really impact your life.

As I read this book, I became excited about the power of prayer. Becky's enthusiasm just leaps from the pages, you can tell how much her life has changed through her renewed prayer life.

When I found a copy of this book in my wife's library, I was skeptical. It looked like another shallow, celebrity driven, Christian-pop product. I was wrong. It is full of good scholarship, siting many biblical references, as well as writings of some of the best Christian thinkers in history, including C.S. Lewis and Andrew Murray. Though I was hoping for a bibliography at the end with suggestions for further reading (maybe there is one in a later addition), this book convicted me like few others. I am motivated to live a life of consistent, daily, intentional prayer; to rekindle "the lost art" of my early college years.

Wonderful book. I had not read any Beck Tirabassi's books before. I bought 3 more of her books.

When I purchased this book, it was on a recommendation froma friend. I was looking for somebody to show me a "formula" for my morning devotions. While there is no such thing as a "formula" to prayer, Let Prayer Change Your Life does offer some nice guidelines to organize your daily time with God. But remember what I have learned...you can read books about prayer, but unless you put the principles into practice, it is meaningless.
One of the great things about this book, is that Becky Teribassi introduced me to my new favorite author, Andrew Murray.
As with any practical book about prayer (or any subject) is that you have to learn the principles and apply them to your own life. I am not sure how she fits all the principles into a single hour each day. But nonetheless, I recomment this book to someone who wants to take their quiet time with God to the next level. Which means I recommend this book to everyone.
