5.0 out of 5 stars OH MY GOD !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This album is freakin increadible. i love it and i just got it today!!! no lie!! i strongly believe that this could be Great White's best album to date!! if you read in another reviewers review that Great White gets softer i don't know where he got the idea. there are only 3 slower songs ( they are great ) the rest are alot harder rock and others have to great blues sound...

3.0 out of 5 stars Not all that bad. Still rocks.
Great White's _Let It Rock_ finds them true to their roots, at least. Even though they seem to have lost some of their earlier optimism and determination in their songwriting, the guitars are there and the beats are consistent. They have not bought into the '90's sound, though there are some rawer tones on the record. It's a welcome change from their acoustic sets...

I payed 40 bucks for this cd sealed and it was worth every penny. trust me. i am a die hard Great White fan and i am 14. i know good music when i hear it , not punk, not rap, not hip hop, nothin but good rock.so don't waste anymore time reading reviews and buy it. also Mark Kendall also shows off some of his great talent on this album!!!!!!!!!

5.0 out of 5 stars The best CD nobody has heard, July 27, 2004
This review is from: Let It Rock (Audio CD)
This Cd never comes out of the player. I had it since the day it was released and it is a bit scatched, so i am looking for a new one. Every song is top notch, from the opening My world to the heart felt Miles Away Hand on the Trigger has such a groove that you can find yourself playing 3 or 4 times over. I really wish it got more exposure, but I love the fact that one of my truly favrouite cds is out of print.

If you love good blues based rock'n'roll, this is a disc for you. There is a good reason Great White has endured. They continue to put out excellent music! "Let it Rock" is great collection of rockers with a taste of the mellow, for balance. This disc slipped under the radar, but is certainly some of GW's best work. If you liked their Once Bitten album, you will dig this one for sure. Long live Great White!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Essential for Great White fans, March 10, 2002
By A Customer
This review is from: Let It Rock (Audio CD)
The sound and feel of the album is a cross between Psycho City and Once Bitten.

It starts off with the heaviest song from GW in the 90's "My World".

I'm not sure what album the reviewer from Indonesia was listening to but there is only one ballad with acoustic guitars on Let It Rock. Mostly rockers "Lives In Chains" "Hand On The Trigger"and heavy blues "Pain Overload".

4.0 out of 5 stars A great but underappreciated album of solid rock music., April 21, 2004

This was a fine album of music that was better than The Rolling Stones "Voodoo Lounge" LP. Unfortunately, most American rock fans did not find out about it. Only the sad state of American radio can be blamed for this album's lack of exposure to the millions of rock music listeners across America. This is why I hate bands like Wheezer and The Presidents of the United States of America, who received loads of air-play during the 90's while the music of Great White was over-looked. Those cheesy pop rock knockoffs can't measure up to Great White. Please do yourself a favor and purchase this album. It Rocks!

5.0 out of 5 stars A true fan's dream!, August 22, 1999

What i have to say may be with a split tongue... but, This is GW at their truest form, being unpreditable. Staying true to the signature sound but at the same time throwing you for a loop in subject matter. Theres definately a song for every Great White fan. From the soft hearted to the most hard rockin' fan! Like em' or not can't deny the the attitude and determination to stand their ground, by being themselves and not being afraid to experiment. Keep it rocking guys!

5.0 out of 5 stars Best GW disc no one ever heard, May 21, 2010

Awesome 1996 release from GW. Perhaps there best. On par with ...Twice Shy & Psycho City. Standout tracks include: "My World", "Lil' Mama", "Pain Overload" & "Man in the Sky". Too bad this disc didn't get any airplay or push from the label. A definite grab for any Great White or hard rock fan!

5.0 out of 5 stars Classic CD from an Incredible band!, April 6, 2009
This review is from: Let It Rock (Audio CD)
This is perhaps Great White's best album.

Jack Russell and Mark Kendall are one of my all time favorite duos in Hard Rock/Heavy Metal. Both use thier bluesy styles to perection. Out of print, this CD tends to be a bit pricey, but it is well worth the few extra bucks.

Hot Spots: Hand on the Trigger, Miles Away, Where is the Love?, Ain't No Way to Treat a Lady. There really isn't a bad song on the album.

If you are a Great White fan, you have to get this album.
