Roscoe Shelton's latest CD, Let it Shine, is a modern blues treasure. And shine it does. Each track is brilliantly executed vocally, the satin finish of Shelton's lilting tenor voice lending color and soul to the solidly written, true to life lyrics. The years have not diminished Shelton's ability to take lift a song to its highest artistic potential while retaining the earthiness and grit that is blues. Definitely a must-hear for the today's blues fan.

This is definitely the BEST blues CD that I have ever purchased. The lyrics are so well written, that you find yourself not only listening, but also living the music. If it were up to me, Roscoe Shelton would no doubt win a Grammy Award!!!
