Best new music around,

I was trying to think of what I can say about this most excellent cd. At first, I thought "if you like music like that sung by Dido, Anna Nalick, Everything But The Girl Blue Nile, Simon and Garfunkel, or Peter, Paul and Mary, then you have to buy this cd". Rest assured this music collection is not for lovers of hard rock, hip-hop or the like. But if you are into mellow music that sounds great, you owe it to yourself to purchase this cd. I think this cd is one of the best I have ever purchased. Give it a try and I assure you, you won't be disapointed.

Coldplay watch your backs!!,

If you like Travis, Coldplay, Keane, or simply great music - check out The Perishers. My wife and I saw these guys open for Sarah Mclachlan, and they blew the audience away. To top it off, they were down to earth and friendly folks who took the time to stay and sign autographs/ take pictures for 2 hours++. In my humble opinion, the best songs on this CD are "Sway", and "Weekend". Also check-out their equally superb first CD - From Nothing to One and the great track "My Hometown." A great band with an album that has too many good songs to just download a few.

I would like to thank Sarah McLachlan for introducing The Perishers to the U.S. audiences. They are great! I purchased the album at her concert in Sunrise, Florida. I was worth the money. I'll be looking forward to their upcoming album.

The best cd I've heard in a long time!!,

I don't usually write a review, but when I bought this cd and listened to it for the first time, I absolutely fell in love!! There isn't one song that I don't like. The Perishers have a great way of combining smooth sound and wonderful lyrics in a perfect combination. This cd is perfect for a long car ride, working at the office or just hanging out with friends. Every song flows nicely into the next one. Even the last song on the cd is an appropriate way to end the whole collection. Very rarely do you ever come across a cd that not only do you love more then just two songs on it, but you can listen to it over and over again and never get tired of them. I can't wait for their next cd to come out. Once you buy this cd and listen to you, you will instintly become a Perisher fan for life!!

Dripping with Emotion,

Some music wills the body to move. Some music inspires a voice to sing. The Perishers are a category unto themselves. They entice the heart to open, and demand the soul to listen. Full of rich vocals and swaying melodies, "Let there Be Morning" sets a new standard to the music scene.

A Hauntingly Beautiful Suprise from Sweden,

First off, I have never seen the O.C. I am a music collector that had never heard of this band until last Sunday, where I read a blurb about them in the USA Weekend section of the local paper. I have never written a review before (as you probably can tell). Ocassionally you hear something for the first time and you know you are listening to something very special. You know you have heard something that someday everyone will hear, but right now it is just you and a few others.
If you can get the hooks and chorus' of 'Sway", "My Heart" or 'Trouble Sleeping" out of your head after you listen, then you're more of a man than me. Or the haunting loneliness of "Weekend", "Going Out" or 'Pills". You may at first listen think this is "ok". I bet you keep listening and listening. And you may want to take it out of your cd player, but for for some reason you just can't do it. This is not the best cd I have ever heard. It is not even the best cd I have heard this year. It is not necessarily original. But there is something very special about it that needs to be heard and once heard it is very hard not to keep listening to it. Stark, haunting, low key, yet incredible listenable. If you were to combine say the slow songs on Radiohead's "OK Computer", Coldplays "Parachutes" and maybe a Sarah McG laughlin cd together this may be what would come out of it. But it sounds like none of those bands do individually. It is a sound all it's own. Good stuff. Very good stuff indeed.

I first heard The Perishers on the shows "One Tree Hill" and "The OC." This album is incredible! All the songs are worth listening to. My favorite would have to be 'Trouble Sleeping' (heard on The OC). Others would be 'My heart' and 'Weekends.' 'Pills' will send shivers up your spine. Trust me you will not regret buying this album!

We Heard The Perishers at the Sarah Maclachan Tour...Had never heard of them....They are FABULOUS!!!! They are musicians first and foremost, the lyrics of their songs are not masked in poetic diversions- they are simply bare...."Pills" was performed at the opening to a crowd who received it with the shivers of reality, I like the duet on the album even more....Not to be missed..

These guys are great... If you are a fan of Coldplay or Radiohead, you will love The Perishers... I saw them open for Sarah McLachlan last week and they were amazing... heartfelt lyrics and melodies, these songs stay with you... mellow and enticing, you will find yourself hitting the repeat button on your CD player... I love this band and can't wait to hear more from them! I hope you enjoy them as well, Sarah McLachlan is doing them a great service by having them tour w/ her as they deserve the exposure... hopefully this CD is only the beginning.
