This review is from: Let the Truth Be Told (Audio CD)
That Krumbsnatcha is now one of the most undrrated rap artist in the industry today. In case you don't know him, he debuted in 1998 on Gang Starr's Moment of Truth. Then he was incarcerated for a few years. After being released from prison he dropped two dope gems; "Closer To God" & "Wolves" f/M.O.P. He signed to Gang Starr's label and worked in D&D studios where he dropped his debut album "Respect All Fear None". The album was decent but could of been better. His lyrics and flow were dope but the beats where so-so. Now 2004 he's back with his own label Golden Eyes Entertaiment which now consist of himself, Nottz (watch out for this producer), & his DMP click. His sophmore attempt, Let The Truth be Told proves that Krumbsnatcha has developed over the years. The album has it's moment in the middle. "Thorough" f/Ghostface & Soloman Childs is a straight spittin' track with all three emcees dropping dope 16's. "Pain of Life", "My Life", "Let The Truth Be Told", "Too Cold", & "I Got It" are tracks where Krumb gets emotional, analytical, and very aggressive in his raps. The unique collabo "Boston To VA", with Fam-Lay is a decent cut. I didn't really find "Do Me" entertaining. "Get Live" with DMP is a cool track and "Wolves Gang" f/Guru his good but I expected more. For all you underground/non-mainstream rap fans pick this album up so this guy can get the shine he deserves. Also check him out on Pete Rock's "Beef" off of Soul Survivor II.
