The path of a cop and a murderer colide..., April 17, 1999

This review is from: Lethal Interface (Paperback)
If you had to affix a genre to this book, it would be subtlepunk. It has very Cyberpunk overtones, but you are not hit over the head with it. An excellent blending of mystery and science fiction.
The most compelling aspect of this book is how you see things from both the Cop, Mick Traven, and the killer combined to eventualy come together in an exciting climax. Add into the mix a intricately woven subplot that has indirect connections to the main plot and this you will find hard to put down.
Even after over 20 readings, it still remains one of my favorite novels

A good science-fiction police novel mix., October 21, 1997

Mixing the blue genre of a police novel
with the grey grit of a high tech future
makes this a unique and enjoyable novel.
Mel Odom does justice to both areas with
strong characterization of both the hero and
villan while realistically setting the tale
in our own future. A very good read.
