This compilation of songs from the lethal weapon movies would be better if they were the ones from the original recording artist as heard in the movies. That is what customers want. The label should specify that the songs on this album were re-done by others than the original artists.

They don't have negative stars on here, that's the only reason I gave it one star. This is a classic example of the good old bait and switch routine, pure and simple. If you want to reminisce and listen to some of your favorite songs by the original artists from the lethal weapon series, DONT BUY THIS ALBUM! I loved Sting's 'Shape of my heart' but what I got was some generic no frills cheap substitute. Sadly disappointed in this album and the fact that you are not allowed to see artists' names on compilations before buying albums; it's a setup.

I reviewed the CD, it was not bad. I was disappointed that the original artists and original score is no longer available. The CD is a mild attempt to compensate, but lacks the authenticity of what has promised to become a millineium classic film series.

This CD was very deceiving. I really thought the songs that were performed on the CD came from the original artist.

The titles on the album read as a list of the finest moments from the series of movies, unfortunately the titles are great its a crying shame that the original artits aren't on the album. It has had one play but because of the lacklustre performances by the backing artists used it will go down as a lesson in not taking a chance on an album with this performance the high street has no competition.

While this CD is inexpensive, it is still not worth the money. It contains almost every song used in the Lethal Weapon movies but not by the original artists. Every song is a cover and this information is not given anywhere in the packaging. This CD would have been so much better if the originals had been used but instead, all you get is bad covers of songs originally done by Eric Clapton, Sting, Bob Dylan, and Elton John. It's not worth it.

The songs on this cd aren't the original artists, but for the money, it's not bad.

I must have misread the synopsis of this cd. I didn't realize that it was unknown musicians performing the songs from Lethal Weapon 4. The one vocalist sounds very similar to Eric clapton but it's not quite the same. It's as if a bunch of studio musicians were putting on a recital and trying to impersonate the original performances. Sorry, but it just didn't do it for me.

Who needs this? Really? I wanted the music FROM the movie. Not some other guys version of the songs. I know, it's cheap but still....I want real name artists performing the songs.

Even though the songs are new versions of the old, they are very well done. This CD is NOT EXPENSIVE either. Given that there are only 6 songs. I highly recomend the movie too. BUY THIS CD NOW! It's VERY worth it.
