Based on the first Lethal Weapon movie, January 12, 2005
This review is from: Lethal Weapon (Paperback)
I enjoyed this book because as with most novels based on movies, it had more detail, and a lot more background information on the characters. The scene from the movie where Riggs and Murtaugh are tortured was well written, and provides so much more for the reader rather than viewer because the author is able to describe the scene from the characters point of view, their feelings etc. You can laugh at some parts, and nearly cry at others. Some things were different from the movie like the death of Riggs' wife (how), and also the very ending. I don't want to give anything away though, as it still makes for fun and exciting reading. I'm hoping there are novels for the other three movies now, as I am sure they will be just as interesting to read also.
