This is one of the funniest games I have ever owned! Image if Munchkin was a real RPG, that is what this game is.....except you are the bad guys. Not only the bad guys, but the weakest of the bad guys.
It is fast, fun and easy. It only uses 6 sided dice. Character creation is real quick, but only because you will be doing it a lot (the life expectancy is not very long). The basic resolution system is as follows: The difficulty is either one of the opponent's stats or a set number. The difficulty number represents how many six sided dice you will be rolling. To succeed you will have to roll under one of your stats (which is around 1-4). The game has it's own magic system, along with kobold "Outfits" (kind of like Character Class in D&D) and a beginning adventure. One of the funniest parts of the game is the "Kobold Random Horrible Death Charts," which have all kinds of creative ways of slaughtering your PKs (Player's Kobolds). They are starting to release 8 page suppliments for this game in issues of the "Dork Tower" comic (starting with issue #33) and will be coming out with miniatures soon. So, whether you are like me who does not have a lot of time to get into a detailed rpg, or if you just want a break from another rpg or you want to read something really funny, this game is great!
